The team performed energy modeling and utilized the necessary deconstruction to pursue a Passive House approach, installing energy-efficient components while meticulously preserving and reinstalling 80% of the original exterior brick to maintain the historic appearance. The vendor provided these services free of charge, and construction is underway with the goal of opening to the public by the 100th anniversary of John Coltrane's birth in 2026.
