Thornton Tomasetti implemented a solution that included extensive implosion analysis to predict the collapse progression and debris field, ensuring the safety of adjacent properties. Their work also included lateral stability and soil vibration analyses. The implosion was completed by Thornton Tomasetti in 2020 without incident, successfully mitigating risk and allowing for the safe installation of a new earth retention system on the site.
