Nordic Brain Tech reaches 30,000 users with Thorgate

Nordic Brain Tech, a Norwegian medtech start-up, partnered with Thorgate to develop innovative digital solutions to revolutionize migraine treatment. Their challenge was to create accessible and effective technologies, including a mobile app for tracking migraine triggers and a biofeedback system for preventative treatment, all while adhering to strict data security regulations.

Thorgate implemented a lean development process using Python, Django, and React Native to build the Brain Twin app and the CEREBRI biofeedback system, hosted securely on Azure. As a result, Brain Twin successfully launched in Norway and Sweden, amassing over 30,000 signups and enabling more accurate migraine diagnosis. CEREBRI, developed with additional grant funding secured by Thorgate, is now in clinical trials with the potential to transform preventative migraine care for millions globally.
