OVO Energy partnered with Thomsons Online Benefits to tackle a challenge around helping a young workforce better plan, save, and engage with their finances. With many employees under 35, OVO Energy wanted to improve financial wellbeing and increase participation in its benefits, including its flex fund and wider financial support offer.

Thomsons Online Benefits helped OVO Energy launch a financial wellness package including a 4% flex fund, a Workplace ISA, and in-office mortgage advice, supported by benefits events and year-round communications. The results included 86% flex fund usage, 74% of employees logging into the benefits portal, and strong uptake of the ISA, showing a clear increase in employee engagement and financial wellbeing.
