Danone, a diverse and growing business with employees across five business areas and three locations, needed a stronger, unified reward brand to boost engagement with its benefits and support wider goals such as cost-effective benefit choices and pension scheme changes. It partnered with Thomsons Online Benefits to improve employee communications and encourage greater participation in its benefits strategy.

Thomsons Online Benefits implemented the online benefits platform myreward and supported it with a creative, garden-themed communications campaign aligned to Danone’s “great place to grow” message. The results were strong: over 83% of UK employees logged in, pension switch targets were met with two business units reaching 99%, and more than 74% of the workforce enrolled in the pension scheme. Danone also reported £35k savings on PMI premiums, a 33% uplift in pension members, and 728 new benefits selections.
