Bristol Myers Squibb, a global BioPharma company, needed to replace a low-tech, paper-based, country-by-country benefits setup with a single global platform for 14,000 employees across 49 countries. The company partnered with Thomsons Online Benefits and used its Darwin cloud-based benefits management and employee engagement platform to create a more efficient, automated, and engaging experience.

Thomsons Online Benefits implemented the “mybenefits” solution on Darwin, delivering the program in 14 languages through one portal and automating 3,111 benefits, 34 pension plans, and 20 reimbursement plans. The rollout reduced administration and errors, improved auditability and data visibility, and resulted in 40 countries live within 35 months, 40,000+ benefit selections processed in 2017, 97% of UK employees logging in, and awards including Gold at the 2017 Employee Benefits Awards and Workforce Optimas Awards.
