A Thomson Reuters Elite Case Study
Phillips Law LLC, a Seattle-based firm handling criminal, personal injury, civil litigation, employment and commercial matters, was struggling with inefficient, unreliable manual time tracking as its caseload grew. After evaluating options, the firm upgraded its existing ProLaw system to ProLaw XII to gain automated time capture, tighter integration with Microsoft applications, and more robust matter, billing and reporting capabilities.
The ProLaw XII implementation was smooth and quickly adopted; its .NET-based, integrated suite and Outlook/Word/Excel interoperability automated time entry, simplified document and contact management, and enabled customizable reporting. As a result, Phillips Law reported substantial increases in productivity and billable time, better compliance and reporting for federal CJA cases, and rapid access to accurate financials for audits and mediations.
