ProLaw Business Process Review Unlocks Even Greater Potential

Town Pump Inc., a privately held Montana operator of nearly 200 convenience stores, truck stops and related businesses, faced growing legal-data complexity as its in‑house six‑person legal team managed property records, licensing and litigation using shared network folders and spreadsheets. Manual workarounds and hundreds of renewal dates across jurisdictions created inefficiencies and risk, prompting the department to implement ProLaw and later upgrade to ProLaw .NET to centralize and better profile matter data.

A ProLaw Business Process Review brought an on‑site project manager who implemented improvements and trained the team, configuring rules‑based docketing, event classes and a custom litigation/status tab to automate tracking and reporting. The changes eliminated many spreadsheets, streamlined license renewals and litigation reporting, increased accuracy, saved time, and left the team with ongoing technical support and plans to migrate all reports into ProLaw.
