Preview of the Ric-Man International, Inc Case Study

Ric-Man International saves $90,739 on Oakland Park industrial sewer upgrades with Thompson & Associates

The customer, Ric-Man International, Inc., faced a challenge in a low-lying industrial area of Oakland Park, Florida, which required a new sanitary sewer system and water main improvements. A traditional gravity-based system was not feasible. Thompson & Associates was engaged to provide creative design and construction engineering services for this infrastructure project.

Thompson & Associates designed and engineered a low-pressure grinder pump station system with a common force main, making special accommodations to minimize future disruptions for local businesses. They managed the complex permitting process and provided construction observation. The project was completed under budget, coming in at $657,261 against an original budget of $748,000, successfully replacing the area's septic system with a modern sewer collection system.
