They partnered with vendor thirdweb to leverage its smart contract and wallet SDK tools.

Using thirdweb, Whal3s deployed ERC-721 contracts and utilized thirdweb's Embedded Wallets to allow attendees to claim their NFTs via email with no web3 onboarding needed. This solution successfully distributed branded NFTs with personalized rewards to over 40,000 attendees, enhancing engagement and creating a seamless, user-friendly experience that blended digital and physical event benefits.
