THG Energy Solutions, a U.S.-based energy technology provider, partnered with Thinslices to modernize its core energy management systems. The challenge was to redesign the customer-facing application for a more intuitive user experience without rebuilding the backend, while also maintaining and evolving its mission-critical legacy platforms for improved scalability and reliability.

Thinslices implemented a dual-strategy solution, rebuilding the frontend with TypeScript and React and taking over the .NET-based legacy infrastructure. The results included a fully redesigned application with three reporting modules launched, significantly improved report load times (from over a minute to 5-10 seconds), and enhanced operational stability. This modernization effort by Thinslices directly contributed to THG securing a six-figure expansion with an existing customer.
