Case Study: WILA achieves end-to-end automated ERP and webshop integration with Thinkwise

WILA, a leading manufacturer of tool systems for press brake machines with about 320 employees and sites in the Netherlands, the United States and China, faced a growing pain: its in‑house ERP was labor‑intensive, hard to use and could not keep pace with business growth or changing processes. WILA engaged Thinkwise and adopted the Thinkwise Platform to replace and modernize its legacy systems, ultimately creating the WISWISE application to better support its end‑to‑end operations.

Thinkwise converted WILA’s legacy ERP into a flexible, user‑friendly solution (built in about 1½ years) and has continued to deliver updates; WISWISE now supports the entire logistics process, integrates with the webshop (including a product configurator), automates quoting through to production and includes 3D models and NC programs. The Thinkwise implementation reduced manual work and peripheral tools, improved efficiency and usability, is in use company‑wide since 2005 with a full update completed in 2017, and is now rolled out across WILA’s US and China locations.
