Royal Wagenborg chooses the Thinkwise low-code platform

Royal Wagenborg, one of Europe’s largest multipurpose shipping companies, faced an obsolete LANSA/AS/400-based core system that could not support modern cloud, AI and industrial data processing needs. After an intensive selection process involving more than 50 vendors and multiple proof-of-concepts, Royal Wagenborg selected the Thinkwise Platform low-code solution to modernize its entire business software for greater speed, flexibility and sustainability.

Using the Thinkwise Platform, with Thinkwise training and consultant support alongside an internal development team, Royal Wagenborg began redeveloping its full core system; a CRM module was delivered within two weeks and the first platform module was expected operational in October. The Thinkwise implementation has enabled much faster development, easier process automation, simpler adoption of IoT/AI, and “tremendous improvements in efficiency,” freeing staff for higher-value business development.
