Niverplast, a global specialist in designing and building packaging machines and production lines, faced a critical business challenge: its commercial and financial processes ran on a custom DOS ERP from the 1980s that was unsupported and an increasing risk. After evaluating major suppliers, Niverplast selected Thinkwise to modernize its ERP using Thinkwise’s low-code development platform, resulting in a newly developed system named Amber 2.

Thinkwise modeled Niverplast’s processes in sprints and delivered Amber 2 incrementally, integrating it with Exact accounting, automating previously manual postal invoicing to digital distribution, and improving order and inventory visibility. The first phase—live for two months—has delivered time savings, better logistics insight and reduced business risk; Thinkwise has been commissioned for phase 2 and will continue to support further re‑engineering and enable Niverplast to make smaller changes themselves.
