Cito, facing an extensive, fragmented and complex IT landscape, needed a future‑proof platform that would let its teams move from a maintenance-heavy model toward more modernization (shifting from 20/80 to 80/20). After evaluating low-code options and involving developers in the selection, Cito chose the Thinkwise Platform following successful Proof of Value and Proof of Concept assessments that demonstrated a strong technological and functional fit.

Working with Thinkwise, Cito implemented the Thinkwise low-code Platform and co‑created platform extensions (an independent messaging service protocol and OAuth 2.0 enhancements) to handle licensing and external integrations. The result was higher productivity and faster delivery—most notably a new student‑tracking system built in six months—and improved ability to integrate with education authentication tools, helping Cito move toward its innovation-focused goals.
