Sustainability values in action responsible procurement at Eagle Lighting

Eagle Lighting, one of Australasia’s biggest lighting solutions companies, wanted to strengthen its sustainability leadership and better align its supply chain with its values. To do this, it worked with thinkstep-anz on a responsible procurement framework that would help the business demonstrate social responsibility to suppliers and customers while supporting its ISO management system.

thinkstep-anz helped Eagle Lighting engage internal and external stakeholders, use the UN Sustainable Development Goals to define priority areas, and build a responsible procurement framework with a supplier code of conduct, supplier questionnaire, and screening process. The result was a clearer sustainability strategy, stronger supplier partnerships, better communication of its sustainability vision, and improved long-term risk and cost management, though the case study did not provide specific quantified impact.
