FoodCap International worked with thinkstep-anz to strengthen its sustainability strategy around circular economy principles. The company wanted to better answer customer questions about the sustainability and economics of its food packaging products, especially its FishCap solution for transporting and storing fish and seafood, while also understanding the motivations and needs of customers and supply chain partners.
thinkstep-anz carried out market, competitor, stakeholder, and policy research, including interviews and desk research, to identify the issues that mattered most and assess the impact of regulations such as the European Green Deal. The work helped FoodCap prioritize projects on circular economy and carbon footprint, explore certifications such as Cradle to Cradle, and plan socio-economic analyses, enabling it to demonstrate the benefits of reusable packaging, improve material circularity, reduce environmental impact, and support stronger engagement with clients and suppliers.
