Southbank Centre - Customer Case Study

Southbank Centre, a world-famous multi-venue arts centre in London, needed a better way to manage staffing for more than 30 managers and 200 hosts working over 30,000 shifts a year. Using Thinking Software’s Rota Horizon, the team was looking to replace a slow, paper-based attendance process and improve the accuracy of timekeeping, payroll data, and workforce planning.

Thinking Software implemented Rota Horizon with eSwipe terminals to automate attendance tracking, flag incomplete shifts and scheduling anomalies, and streamline reporting and payroll reconciliation. The result was faster and more responsive staff planning, reduced admin and printing costs, less manual reconciliation, and more accurate reporting and analysis, with Southbank Centre highlighting significant time savings and improved operational efficiency.
