Skene House, a hospitality and property business in Aberdeen, was handling payroll, holiday entitlement, and attendance manually across its HotelSuites and Business Centres. Thinking Software implemented Rota Horizon with system configuration, staff and management training, and payroll integration, working closely with Skene House’s HR and accounts teams. The solution improved the accuracy and volume of attendance and payroll information, reduced manual processing and payroll costs, and increased productivity across several departments. Skene House also reported better monitoring of punctuality, more efficient storage of employee records, and a more proactive role for department heads in scheduling and attendance management.
