World Renowned Wynn Las Vegas & Encore Las Vegas Upgrade Business Center PCs with Thinix Retrofit™

Wynn, including its sister resort Encore, needed a cost-effective, secure upgrade for guest-use PCs that preserved brand styling and added features like magnetic-strip login without replacing hardware. To solve this, Wynn partnered with Thinix and chose Thinix Retrofit™ and Thinix Kiosk 10 to deliver a branded, secure, and easy-to-use guest desktop.

Thinix retrofitted 20 existing PCs using a bootable Thinix Retrofit USB, Kiosk 10 software, secure lockdowns, and magnetic strip reader integration (4 PCs in the Wynn lobby, 8 in the casino race/sports book, and 8 in the Encore lobby), completing the work in hours with no guest interruption. The upgrade doubled system speed, made interactive features ten times more secure, improved branding and usability, and added Thinix GuestFirst™ remote support for updates and diagnostics — all at a fraction of the cost of new hardware.
