The vendor, Things, was brought in to evolve Smart's existing parking app into a charging solution and later adapt this for the more premium Mercedes EQ line, creating a seamless digital experience.

Things designed a scalable system that integrated charging capabilities for both vehicle brands, including support for garages, roadside stations, and mobile charging units. The solution was tested on the streets of Rome and resulted in a consistent, user-friendly charging experience that was easy to maintain and scale for future electric models.
