A ThingLogix Case Study
United Way of Monterey County faced a challenge with an extremely manual referral program for connecting families with vital services like rent and utility assistance. Although this program brought community organizations together, it was high-touch and often failed to track outcomes. Partnering with vendor ThingLogix, they sought to digitize this process into what would become the Smart Referral Network.
ThingLogix developed the Smart Referral Network solution, which digitized United Way's referral program to enable closed-loop tracking, automated service suggestions, and real-time reporting. This implementation allowed case workers to efficiently navigate over 2,650 applications and distribute more than $900,000 in assistance, providing critical support to families during the pandemic and measuring successful outcomes.
