A Thinglink Case Study
Nottingham College, a UK-based further education provider, faced a challenge when a construction project left their Access to Art students without a physical gallery space for their annual exhibition. This meant the students could not showcase their work to friends, family, or prospective employers and universities, missing a critical opportunity.
The college used ThingLink to create an interactive virtual art gallery. They captured 360-degree images of the campus gallery, uploaded them to the platform, and added interactive tags with student details. ThingLink's solution was shared via VR headsets, QR codes, and a simple URL, allowing for global access. This provided students with a digital portfolio to share with employers and created a perpetual digital catalogue for the college, changing how they record and showcase student work.
