LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort, one of Germany’s largest amusement parks and part of the Merlin Entertainment group, needed a faster, more scalable way to handle incoming invoices as the business grew. Before working with Therefore Corporation, invoices were scanned, copied, and physically routed for manual approval by two employees each, causing delays and inefficiencies. The company was looking for a simple system with digital workflow, archiving, accounting integration, and supplier master data support.

Therefore Corporation implemented Canon’s Therefore™ information management system, alongside uniFLOW for print management. Invoices are now scanned, automatically indexed, emailed for approval, and routed to a second approver when needed, allowing the process to be completed in one working day or less. LEGOLAND Deutschland processes about 20,000 invoices a year, handles up to 3,000 per month in peak season, and has doubled its early payment discounts since implementation.
