KBZ, a law and tax firm with multiple locations in Germany, needed a more secure and efficient way to handle the growing volume of case files and insolvency documents. As mandates increased sharply after the introduction of personal insolvency law, its existing Windows folder-based archive became too risky and time-consuming, especially with thousands of insolvency claims and the need to retain finalized case records. Therefore Corporation implemented Therefore™ and integrated it with KBZ’s legal software, RA-Micro, to create a seamless archiving workflow. Documents are now scanned, indexed, and stored in a structured repository with full-text and index search, making information easy to find while greatly improving security. The firm reports that its data is “absolutely secure” and that finding information is much easier and more user-friendly, with no longer relying on daily backup recovery for deleted files.
