EGGER, one of Europe’s largest producers of particle boards, flooring laminate, and home décor products, needed a standardized information management system to support its decentralized IT environment across 18 production plants. The company wanted better document storage and version control for a mix of scanned, Office, and SAP-related documents, plus web access and the ability to work efficiently even at sites with limited WAN bandwidth. Therefore Corporation implemented Therefore™ with deep SAP integration, centralized document management, database replication, and failover protection, replacing file-server-based storage and enabling electronic auditing and archiving. The solution supports 60 million documents online, 25,000–50,000 new documents daily, and 410 document types, while improving access, transparency, productivity, and disaster recovery across all locations.
