Construzioni Aeronautiche Bertola (C.A.B.), a growing aerospace manufacturer in Italy, needed a better way to save and retrieve documents tied to work orders, quality assurance standards, and administrative/fiscal records. Working with Therefore Corporation, the company looked for a scalable, user-friendly document management setup that could support efficient archiving, traceability, and workflow-related document handling.

Therefore Corporation implemented a solution combining the Canon iR ADVANCE C5030i MFP with Therefore™ document management and the Therefore™ Capture Client. The system automated scanning, indexing, barcode reading, and searchable PDF creation, helping CAB assign documents to the right categories and quickly find information by code, order type, or product description. The result was less paper, faster retrieval, lower operating costs, and improved efficiency, with around 25,000–30,000 pages a year handled through the new workflow.
