The Oklahoma Accountancy Board (OAB) needed a better way to manage licensing for more than 6,000 CPAs and accountancy firms after its aging legacy system became unreliable, lacked self-service features, and required too much manual work from staff. As a result, OAB improved the licensee experience and shifted staff toward higher-value compliance work, with most registrants now able to complete registration online with minimal intervention from the agency.
