The Returning Veterans Project (RVP) provides free, confidential mental and physical health services to post‑9/11 veterans, service members, and their families in Oregon and Southwest Washington through a network of volunteer licensed Providers. RVP needed to grow revenue and expand services but was constrained by a legacy CRM that was hard to update without a contractor, produced data-entry errors from Providers with varying technical skills, consumed excessive staff time, and lacked the scalability required for planned growth.
thedatabank delivered a customized CRM and online Provider portal that improved usability and appearance, allowed Providers to work directly with client names, upload photos and certifications, and report hours with visibility into individual and aggregate activity. The platform also added donor, event, volunteer, segmentation, and multichannel communications functionality. Since implementation, RVP has seen significant increases in Providers, clients, and other resources.
