Jabber Logic highlighted the story of FamilyWise, a Minnesota nonprofit that needed a fresh way to engage supporters. Their traditional golf fundraiser attracted mostly corporate partners and didn’t connect to the organization’s mission or the broader mix of volunteers, interns, donors, board members and staff they wanted to recognize.

FamilyWise turned its Minneapolis office into a branded Mini‑Golf Tournament with corporate partners building holes and staff and interns staffing stations to share the mission. The playful, targeted campaign (“Golf in January? You betcha!”) captured contact information, added 25 newsletter subscribers, secured five new in‑kind donor partnerships, boosted staff and volunteer engagement, and was successful enough to be repeated.
