Largest Logistics Company, a global logistics provider with over 300,000 employees in 220+ countries, needed professional eLearning localisation across 16 language pairs and a wide range of file types. thebigword was engaged to provide eLearning translation and localisation services to convert uneditable source files, ensure compliance across multiple employment markets, and deliver the content back in the correct formats.

thebigword recreated source files, built delivery templates, leveraged the client's translation memory to reduce repeated-string costs, and implemented a bespoke workflow (translation, repetition revision, monolingual review, typesetting and voiceover, and final LQA) with around 200 hours of project management. The project covered ~10,000 words across HTML, TXT, PDF and other formats in a dozen+ languages and delivered reusable processes and linguistic briefings; thebigword achieved just over 5% cost savings on the project with scope to increase savings on future eLearning work.
