MTVA, the national broadcaster of Hungary, faced the challenge of creating engaging and accurate weather presentations with outdated, inefficient tools. Their meteorologists relied on infrequently updated spreadsheets and basic graphics, hindering their ability to compete with commercial broadcasters. To overcome this, they turned to The Weather Company for a solution.

Working with The Weather Company and its MAX solution, MTVA integrated advanced forecast data with a 3D virtual studio. This provided meteorologists with certified, frequently updated data and allowed for the creation of immersive augmented reality graphics. The solution significantly streamlined production, enabling MTVA to produce about 30 forecasts daily with a small team and limited resources, resulting in a superior and more informative viewer experience that set them apart in their market.
