K-Electric, Pakistan’s vertically integrated power utility, wanted to strengthen its employer brand, reduce application drop-off, and improve candidate experience for its Emerging Talent Programme. To move beyond static written tests and better attract college graduates, it partnered with The Talent Games and adopted a gamified hiring solution along with social media employer branding support.
The Talent Games built a customized recruitment game that reflected K-Electric’s values and culture, while also managing Career Pages and sponsored campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. The result was a much larger and more efficient hiring funnel: applications rose from 9,445 in 2020 to 20,719 in 2021, with 17,388 candidates assessed and 34 Management Trainees hired in 2021. K-Electric also improved candidate experience, reduced time-to-hire and cost, and gave applicants instant feedback and a more engaging hiring process.
