Oatey, a long-standing manufacturer and distributor of plumbing products, needed a way to launch its Dearborn True Blue FLEX Bath Waste Kit and later its QuickDrain shower products to specialty retailers and rep agencies across the United States. The Shamrock Companies was brought in to help create a promotional product and in-showeroom retail display that would generate excitement, support sales, and showcase the new product lines effectively.

The Shamrock Companies responded with custom kitting and specialty packaging instead of a standard promo item, designing full-color branded boxes with custom foam inserts to display the product components and samples. For True Blue FLEX, Shamrock created, printed, assembled, and shipped 200 launch kits with literature nationwide; for QuickDrain, it produced durable display kits for 50 rep agencies, including an extra replacement box with each order. The result was a cost-efficient, long-term product marketing solution that combined form and function and made it easier for Oatey’s dealers and representatives to sell the products.
