Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit academic medical center, needed a memorable way to celebrate its 100th anniversary and invite supporters around the world to a virtual centennial event during COVID-19 restrictions. The Shamrock Companies was brought in to create a custom gift experience, including an invitation package that would honor the institution’s history and engage guests from afar.

The Shamrock Companies sourced and branded a 3D viewfinder, created a centennial photo disc using images from Cleveland Clinic’s 100-year history, and designed custom full-color gift boxes with inserts for the invitation and collateral. The team kitted and shipped 800 invitation boxes globally, plus 37 VIP specialty boxes with exclusive centennial gifts and personalized notes, delivering an interactive, uplifting experience that strengthened recipients’ connection to Cleveland Clinic during the lockdown period.
