Beat helps thousands find eating disorder support each month with The Developer Society

The Developer Society worked with Beat, a UK eating disorder charity, to rebuild its HelpFinder platform. The challenge was to redesign the directory to make it easier for people to find support and for Beat to manage the backend content, ensuring information remained fresh and up-to-date.

The Developer Society delivered a new HelpFinder platform that allows users to search for services by postcode, with filters for age, service type, delivery method, and specialism. Since its 2022 relaunch, the platform is accessed by thousands of people each month and is a resource even linked to by the NHS.
