Smart Graphics, a sign-writing and specialist graphics provider based in Clydebank, Scotland, needed a better way to capture essential business data and improve its inefficient estimating and quoting processes. The company, which specializes in public transport graphics and fleet work, found its former system no longer worked properly and was holding back growth. It chose Tharstern MIS after reviewing several systems, noting that Tharstern seemed to offer most of what it needed without unnecessary complexity.

Tharstern implemented a full MIS system for Smart Graphics, with training beginning at the end of June and go-live planned for the autumn. The new system is expected to cut quote production time from about 30 minutes to around one-third of that, saving at least six months of estimating time each year across four staff members. Smart Graphics also expects the Tharstern solution to support future growth by allowing the business to process more orders faster and potentially expand its sales team.
