Oriel Printing Company, a trade UV litho printer for the packaging industry, wanted to modernise and streamline its entire business process, from sales and production to procurement and fulfilment. The company also needed to replace its manual T-card production planning system with an integrated MIS-based scheduling solution, and looked to Tharstern for help.

Tharstern implemented the 15-user PRIMO MIS system, including CRM, estimating and job-costing modules, along with JDF functionality integrated with Fuji XMF workflow and Heidelberg Press Room Manager. The new setup linked the studio and machines with live job data and budget feedback, and Oriel expected efficiencies to increase by at least 25% once fully operational.
