Vietcombank Ensures Transaction Security with Thales Authentication

Vietcombank, Vietnam’s leading commercial bank with over 500,000 online customers, faced rising online fraud risk and needed to comply with the Vietnamese Electronic Transaction Law requiring digital signatures. Thales implemented SafeNet eToken for certificate-based two-factor login and transaction signing and deployed SafeNet HSMs to secure private keys; more than 10,000 corporate customers received tokens and the localized system was up and running within three weeks.
