Objectif Lune Expands Software Business and Enters New Markets with Thales Sentinel

Objectif Lune, a Canadian software company that automates business communications, wanted to expand beyond large print and direct-mail customers into the SMB market but needed a pricing and licensing approach that fit smaller buyers, global partners, and protected its intellectual property. To address this, Objectif Lune partnered with Thales and its Thales Sentinel licensing products to explore new, flexible monetization models.

Using Thales Sentinel, Objectif Lune implemented time-limited trials, pay‑per‑use billing, concurrent/floating licenses and remote updates/renewals, enabling usage-based licensing and strong anti‑piracy protection. The Thales solution opened the SMB market, created new revenue streams, allowed partners to offer customized bundles, and supported steady sales growth while safeguarding Objectif Lune’s software.
