To meet financial-institution compliance and enable robust multi-sig and cold-wallet workflows, Fressets selected Thales’ ProtectServer HSM to secure keys at the hardware level.

By integrating Thales ProtectServer HSM (FIPS 140-2 Level 3) and threshold-signature technology, Fressets implemented fully offline multi-sig (including for Ethereum) and centralized secure key storage without exposing private keys. The Thales-enabled solution delivered financial-grade security, faster time-to-market, wider adoption across Japan, and increased inquiries from banks and financial institutions seeking HSM-backed wallet services.
