Case Study: TAB Bank achieves PCI DSS compliance with Thales e-Security

A Thales e-Security Case Study

Preview of the TAB Bank Case Study

Tab Bank Comfortably Trucks Past PCI DSS Compliance with Thales e-Security

TAB Bank wanted to become PCI DSS compliant without slowing down its infrastructure. The bank needed to encrypt all stored cardholder data and manage access policies across a mixed environment, including virtualized systems, SQL Server, AIX-based database servers, and archived files.

TAB Bank chose Thales e-Security’s Vormetric Data Security Platform after finding its user interface and policy management easier to use than competing options. The solution was installed in the bank’s primary data center in Ogden, Utah, and a disaster recovery facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the bank reported no impact on system performance after going live. Thales e-Security also helped TAB Bank meet key PCI DSS requirements while keeping all data, including backups, encrypted.
