Weber GmbH, a medium-sized family-owned component manufacturer with locations in Germany, Poland, and China, needed to protect CAD 3D models for prototype car designs. A major European auto manufacturer required the files to be secured with a commercial-grade encryption solution comparable to ISO 27001 standards, while Weber also needed strong role separation and no detectable latency for large CAD datasets.

The company found no difference between accessing unencrypted files and those encrypted by Vormetric, and it completed the conversion before the car maker’s team visited.
