How LRS Healthcare Simplified Compliance and Increased Placements

LRS Healthcare, a travel healthcare staffing firm, faced falling phone pick-up rates from candidates and inefficient recruiter workflows—often spending 15–20 minutes on unproductive calls and struggling to collect compliance paperwork without souring relationships. After hearing other firms’ success, LRS implemented the TextUs texting platform in 2017 to reach candidates on their preferred channel.

Using TextUs, LRS shifted to text-first outreach and compliance, qualifying multiple candidates simultaneously, getting faster responses, and allowing travelers to submit documents via text (even while on the go). TextUs became the primary communication channel, driving faster placements, reducing wasted recruiter time, and producing a direct correlation between TextUs usage and increased placements, while features like predictive messaging and templates helped new recruiters ramp up more quickly.
