Tastecard needed a direct channel to drive new member acquisition and re-engage lapsed members by promoting their “£1 for 90 days” membership offer. They worked with Textlocal, using SMS and Short Links to reach non-members and expired members quickly on their mobile devices.
Textlocal ran targeted SMS campaigns via its Messenger platform with data segmentation and tracked short links, producing up to a 10% click-through rate to the mobile sign-up form. This drove an immediate and steady increase in membership purchases, uplifted website traffic, and successfully re-engaged members unresponsive to email, and Tastecard is now considering expanding SMS offers to active members.
