Papa John’s Pizza, a national chain with over 140 stores, wanted to boost loyalty and drive repeat orders by offering discounted prices to previous customers. To achieve this they turned to Textlocal and used Textlocal's bulk SMS software to communicate timely offers and order updates directly to their customer base.
Textlocal implemented a targeted "Offer of the Week" campaign using time‑bound, regionally segmented SMS to customers who had previously ordered. The campaign delivered a 31.7% increase in sales over three days, a 4.8% response rate and tactical offer response within 72 hours, with generated sales reported at more than 10 times the total cost of the SMS campaign.
