GroundScope, an online bookable managed ground-transport provider of business taxis, chauffeur-driven cars and coaches for major companies, needed a reliable way to confirm bookings and reassure customers that their vehicle and chauffeur would arrive on time. To solve this, GroundScope deployed Textlocal’s Bulk SMS software and API Gateway to support automated, real-time messaging.

Textlocal implemented automated SMS notifications sent 30 minutes before collection that include the driver’s phone number and booking details, putting traveller and driver in direct contact and improving communication in busy airports and cities. Using Textlocal’s API Gateway to automate updates delivered 24/7 service, reduced labour costs, kept customers fully informed and led to a reduction in lapsed bookings and forgotten collection times.
