Clock Communications partnered with Textlocal, using Textlocal's bulk SMS software, to run a national advertising campaign promoting foster care. Their challenge was to generate immediate, measurable leads and capture opt‑in contact details from people who wanted to express interest, using a simple and fast response mechanism.
Textlocal implemented an emotive keyword campaign asking people to text CARE to 60777; replies were captured and followed up by phone so Clock Communications could focus on genuine leads. The campaign drove a 40% rise in interest in foster care, produced 120 reply messages in the first three months, and prompted Clock Communications to use keyword SMS in subsequent campaigns.
