Carnage UK, a student event held in 45 UK cities, needed to turn awareness into sell-outs by reaching past ticket buyers and hot leads quickly. Textlocal helped Carnage UK schedule messages for maximum impact (during popular TV advert breaks), collect opt-in mobile numbers via online sales and order forms, and manage segmented contact groups in Messenger by university; keywords (CARNAGE and city sub-keywords) on short code 66777 plus an API gateway automated sign-ups into city lists. The result: online ticket sales often jumped by 50% within four hours of a broadcast, demonstrating Textlocal’s measurable impact and effective opt-in marketing.
