It's Time Texas is a statewide nonprofit that helps prevent chronic diseases by providing free or low-cost health resources and telehealth coaching. Their three coaches struggled to connect with Living Healthier program recruits by phone—calls from an 800 number went unanswered and scheduling took many attempts—so they adopted Textline’s text-messaging platform (using features like shortcuts, scheduled messages, automations, a unified inbox, and custom roles) to improve outreach and coordination.
Using Textline, coaches now set appointments, send reminders, and check in more efficiently, building stronger rapport through frequent motivational texts. The results: response rates rose to 80% (from 40% before) and drop-off fell to 10% (from 60%), enabling the small team to serve many more participants across Texas.
